Adam Hall 87408V Rack Housing 2HE

Not much to say here, the case is rock solid and fits together nicely. The sheet metal is cleanly crimped and bent and the front panel is thick enough to sustain a large amount of weight you can put into the case.
Only downside are the screws that are delivered to connect the sidewalls with front, bottom and back. They are a sort of wood screw that attempt to 'bite' into the screw holes of the parts instead of fine threaded screws with nuts, but can easily be replaced with better screws.

This rack housing is quite light weight, and looks very good with the powder coating finish. For use with heavier components like trafos I recommend to reinforce it with e.g. some alu profiles inside. After some years you may find some rust here and there , since the coating is a bit thin and it's made of steel....... but a comparable housing of alu may double the price... so overall a very good looking and reliable housing.

Racked my spring reverb with this. Okay to assamble, didnt really like the way the top and bottom part attach. Other then that it seems pretty stable.

Great material for project. Strange material well made. It will work. Will make use of this case when I have time to work on a project; for pushbutton patch-bay-like rack.

If you like to build stuff for yourself or others (from your band, like me), then this is the product that you need!
I would give 5 stars if it were a little cheaper. Other than that, great product.

Sturdy steel case! Build a compressor out of it. Is a tank!
