Affordable, comfortable and efficient hearing protection - look no further!
First of all, I would like to clarify that I am not exactly a musician, but I do sometimes find myself in environments with fairly loud music - whether that would be a club or a festival - so this review will be based on those environments.
- My Experience
I have used the Alpine MusicSafe Pro a handful of times now, and is it safe to say that I have been nothing but satisfied and amazed by their performance. Every time I have left a loud club, I have just been able to take them out and have no ringing in my ears at all.
- Comfort
I find them very comfortable, and I can barely feel them when they are inserted into my ear. Once they are in they stay in place, and they rarely need to be adjusted. They are definitely much better than single-use foam earplugs.
- Accessories
I really like the case they come in, it is small and convenient and fits in any pocket. The different 'filters' are very useful - it is a great to be able to change 'strength' on the fly depending on the situation.
All in all, the Alpine MusicSafe Pro are a very solid choice for hearing protection, with the case they can be brought anywhere without fear of losing them, and their performance speaks for itself - I can definitely recommend them.

Good protection
Great and comfortable hearing protection.
I've found I only use the strongest of the filters, as the others does not provide sufficient protection for me (loud band in a small room).
The only con is that they do not provide enough production when I'm playing drums.

Best plugs I've ever had
They fit perfect, and the sound is really good.
They come with an extra plug too, which is perfect, cause I always lose one after some time.

Cuts a little bit too much
I play electric guitar in a 7 man band consisting of drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, trumpet, trombone and a vocalist. When I first put these plugs on it appeared to be working perfectly as it reduced volume of my band mates without sacrificing much of the sound quality. But when I started playing I noticed it cuts my own frequency more than all other instruments except probably the drum's cymbals. I tried all the provided filters and they always had the same effect. Truth be told I don't usually play very loud as I play mostly funk rhytm and these plugs could maybe be very helpful for rock bands with loud and soaring guitars. I would recommend them if your guitarist is too loud.

Protects my ears perfectly
I've been using Alpine ear filters for about twenty years now and they've always protected my hearing perfectly, while enabling me to still hear everything I need to; just at much lower volume. I even use them in loud bars. As my ears are essential for my job, they are invaluable in helping me to not go deaf. These are my second pair. I've been using them for years now and when they wear out I will order them again. This literally is a small price to pay to protect your ears.

Adequate hearing protection, multifunctional, my ears don't ring at all
After years of using earplugs made for sleeping, not for music, these are a massive upgrade. They're a bit pricey, but worth the investment.
The gold filters, which are the strongest ones, work well for gigs or practice with a loud amp. Frankly I wish they were a few dB stronger, but they're strong enough and even after an hour of sitting less than 2m away from a big cranked amp I didn't have ringing in my ears.
The silver and white filters aren't strong enough for metal gigs, but come in handy for quieter music like classical and for noisy environments if you're sensitive to noise. The white filters especially dampen the background noise nicely without making the people talking to you unintelligible.
The plugs themselves are comfortable soft silicone that I barely feel in my ears and, according to the instructions, are good for up to 100 uses, meaning I'll probably use them for at least 200, They also come with a third spare plug (but no third filter)
Overall, they're not cheap, but they pay off in the long run and cover all the bases

Essential accessory for a gigging musician
I joined a new band. Despite being pop rock it is a very loud band. I already have tinnitus from years of gigging and had to take some action to prevent further hearing damage. These have been a revelation. Like many I opted for the solver inserts for the best balance between protection and decibel reduction. Very happy with these. I especially like the cord, I can get them out of my ears easily. Comfortable to wear for hours one end. I do have a little difficulty hearing my backing vocals, but this is a small price that the audience has to pay for the occasional bit of caterwauling.

Best earplugs
These are the best earplugs I own.
The sound is really balanced for my ears and I can listen everything with clarity and in low volume.
I also own the Zildjian ear plugs and the bass drum is a bit boomy when I practice with them on. The alpine ear plugs give you a flat sound and that's good because you will not get ear fatigue.
If you are already an alpine earplug owner, and you have the previous model you should upgrade. They are better...

Very Good
Tried these ones out and they are fantastic. Very comfortable and reliable. The multi-optimized filters are just top-notch. Overall a must product for anyone who gigs regularly.
