Apple Thunderbolt 3 auf TB2 Adapter

I use this adapter with an 'Apple Thunderbolt Cable' to connect my Apollo Twin X to my iMac (cables were not included in the Apollo interface, so I had to buy them seperately). It works 100%

Apple can be pricy but the quality of its adapters is just the best in the market. Not much to say other than this is a must have for all musicians that have upgraded to devices with Thunderbolt 3 and have other devices still rocking the previous version. Beware as the input is not USB-C, but similar to a Display Port.

After upgrading to a new Mac Mini I realized rather sadly that my Onyx 1640i would not be able to plug into it. So I got a firewire 400 to 800, then 800 to thunderbolt, and then this product “Apple Thunderbolt 3 to TB2” and it works perfectly. Expensive yes but cheaper than a new 16 Channel interface and mixer. Wahoo!

The shell has a fine crack but nothing serious. Wear and tear and hours of travelling still going strong.

Does it’s job connecting my Tb2 audio device to my Tb3 equipped Mac.

Apple Thunderbolt 3 to TB2 Adapter works exactly as expected. It's a tiny thing that bridges different generations of devices.
Among my gear, I have an old MacBook Pro mid 15 that doesn't have modern USB-C ports. This adapter lets me successfully use my old laptop with my new Apollo interface, which I find absolutely fantastic.
Plus, it's Apple, so you always get that compact size and reliability

The adapter is working perfectly, I recommend it (other brands cables won't work well if you're using to adapt your TB3 to TB2 for a newer audio interface)

Everything you would expect from Apple. Cool-looking, High-quality, and offensively expensive.

Works as expected. It’s of high quality. But of course, pricey, as all Apple products.
