Limited edition synths (which are actually not so limited, (unless you are one of the 500 morodernova and get a numbered and signed certificate) are a hobby of mine, and with true limited edition reaching high prices (no i am not going for the afx bassstation rebranding, because it is not numbered, and if you realize the og station is almost 150 off and it does the same with the firmware update, all you get for the limited premium is a special package box and some stickers) personally i think aphex twin would be a lot more happy with this semi modular microfreak and then buy a crea8🎃audio nifty bundle and some extra freaky modules by errorinstruments. And total price is about the same, And that is actually the road that i am going here. The sound engine of the microfreak is very versitile and with the vocoder addition, It opens up a lot of new possibilities ... now bear with me niftybundle, eraserhead theremin, gamechanger plasma distortion errorinstruments broken tape and other freaky shit ... now .... that opens up the craziness, the weirdness and the musical possibilities of early aphex twin ....

Modern classic
I've been using Microfreak for about a year now, and I must say, it's probably the best synth for your money, period. It can do so much, and it costs so little. It takes time to master it, but Arturia keeps releasing new updates, so it always keeps surprising you with new ideas, sounds and workflows. Definitely a long-term relationship kind of a synth. Just pair it with a good multieffects pedal, otherwise it can sound a bit dry.

Absolutely underpriced.
I waited 2 years to get this weird little thing… but finally here and wow…everything is absolutely amazing in this one.

Absolute bargain synth
Can’t go wrong at this price. So much flexibility in terms of sound. Only issue is mic seems low quality/delicate so worth using a different one. Also with it had a built in rechargeable battery.

Als je van synths de houd is deze zeker een goede aankoop.
Het is wel wat overweldigend in het begin om te snappen hoe alles werkt, Dus een beetje ervaring en kennis is zeker welkom.
Maar eens je vertrokken bent bied het heel veel mogelijkheden!
