Aulos 211A Robin Tenor Recorder

Having bought the Alto Recorder from Aulos (509b), I choose this recorder because I like to play the lower F without the key, giving me more control. You can expect excellent product from Aulos. The instrument fits nicely in my hand and the notes speak easily.

This recorder comes in a nice case and has all you need. Personally, I found the thumb rest unnecessary but it's there if you want it. The tone is nice and rich and it feels light but substantial in the hands.

I love this recorder! It's easy to reach the lowest holes, no stretch required (I have medium sizes hands). The sound is beautifully deep and mellow. Easy response and good intonation. It is shiny plastic so don't expect it to look like wood.

De toon van deze blokfluit is heerlijk, helaas kan ik m nog niet echt bespelen, mijn handen zijn nogal klein én ik ben een totale beginner die nu de alto aan t leren is en ik raak nu verward met welke vingers te gebruiken. maar ben dr zeker van dat wanneer ik dat een beetje onder de knie hebt dat ik dan de tenor tevoorschijn zal halen! Uitstekende service van Thomann!

This recorder surprised me, the sound is great, just perfect!!

I have to say this is better than I had expected. I don’t really play the Recorder, I started on this instrument for a project I am doing at the moment. The sound is airy and warm, which surprised me for a plastic instrument. I’m sure it’s very different from a wooden recorder, but for me, I’m sticking with this recorder. It does everything I need it to do.
