Best snare wires I ever owned!
It turned a Mapex Black Panther snare drum into a very musical and sensitive instrument. With the default snare wires it didn't sound right for lighter music styles, like Jazz. The OEM sound had that Mapex thump. After changing the heads, which led to minor improvements, as a last resort, I bought the Canopus snare wires. All I can say is, wow! Now this Mapex snare drum has become one of my favorite snare drums to play on, good for any genre. Really happy customer here!
