Excellent Patch Cables
These are my second set of Dopefer cables and suprise, suprise I really like the feel of them & being coloured is pretty essential when you have a heavy patching session goin on.
They are solid whilst being rather slim which is a real bonus when you have some heavy patching going on! I would highly recommend these cable due to their build quality - they feel very tough whilst being highly flexible.
The slimness of these cables compard to others I'm using is a real bonus, especially when you have some heavy patching going on - there's nothing worse than being unable to get to your knobs due to a sea of cables. The slimness of these cables highly reduces this issue which is one of the key features for me.
I've bought shorter cables in the past but would highly recommend these longer 120 cm cables as you don't get your hands tangled in the middle of a heavy patch.

Crucial Gear
Reviewing a cable may seem strange but without them we would be stuck. The importance of this cable is increased purely because of its colour, it's so easy to get confused with a complicated patch but when you have various coloured cables the whole process becomes much easier to follow. Having various lengths of cables increases as your modular system expands and, in many cases, a long cable like this one is required more often than not. These are not an expensive bit of equipment so I plan to buy lots of each colour and then decide which should represent various functions, for example red for the audio path.

Not any good
I got this cable to connect my Voicelive2 with a laptop for live gigs. I took it off from the nylon brand new and it was not working. I always have backup cables and so I used my backup but if I had just this one.. I would be embarrassed. Get a cordial, they never let you down.

Fine but it's a doepfer cable
You expect excellent with doepfer don't you? At least I do. This cable is totally fine. It's a good length for a patch lead as all my other leads are smaller and sometimes you want to connect two synths and that isn't great with a 5 inch patch cable and believe me i have tried it. Compaed to my other patch cables this one feels a bit thin and cheap but it's fine... but it's doepfer... is it fine? Yes it is because I can now connect two synths without holding one above the other.

Poor quality - one lead had a short circuit!
I bought about 20 of these. At least one has a short circuit making it useless. Not quite worth the effort of sending back, but really poor nonetheless.
For anyone with big fingers, it's worth nothing that this series of cables has very small plugs. Hard to grip without tugging on the wire.

Cheap but useful
At this price was not expecting these to be the sturdiest of cables but they do the job. Not sure how long they will last but can't really complain at this price point...
