Drum Mat, not a magic carpet
This is a purpose-made stage mat for drums. It is rubber-backed, quite light in weight and comes in a few patterns. It looks ok on stage, but the standard size only just accomodates a full drum kit, especially with a 22" bass drum. It does what it says on the tin, and has no drawbacks, if your kit will fit on it. Mine did, so no problems. Is it worth buying? Yes, if you don't want your bass drum making a bid for freedom on a hard floor.
