It's a Superego but smaller.

Had the original freeze and the original superego.
Freeze was always underwhelming for what i wanted, but it delivered. The Superego was always a great pedal for specific sounds, not for the average sound and playing.

Now, the PICO Freeze (it should be pico Superego, to be honest, but freeze sounds better) is exactly like the superego, except for the non silent switch, and it's not a perfect 5/5 only because of this.

4.9/5 highly recommend.

Definitely an upgrade to the features of the EHX Freeze

If you are someone who works a lot of ambient, drone, psychedelic, or whatever weird music, this is definitely a pedal you should look into. The Latch and Moment modes work just like the Freeze, with the added bonus on the Latch that you can add more layers of sound. The Auto mode is a real game changer if you are someone who works with a lot of drone, though you need to tune the Gliss setting to whatever fits your workflow best.

The pedal is quite small (it is a Pico after all), which some people might like a lot for their pedalboard real estate, but not everybody.

und Instrumentalisten ist dieses kompakte Pedal auf jeden Fall geeignet.
Vielseitiger als der alte Freeze. Der LATCH-Mode zum klassischen Layern, der MOMENT-Modus mit Speed Regler zum einstellen der Länge des Freezes. Interessant auch der AUTO-Mode mit Gliss-Regler, der ein stufenlosen Übergang vom vorherigen Freeze versucht herzustellen.
Wie gesagt, etwas für den Klangsucher.
Verarbeitung ist robust und handlich. Der Taster rastet ein und ist akkustisch deutlich zu hören, dafür bemerkte ich bis jetzt kein Knacken im Signal.
