Wired in series with one of the pickup, it inverts the phase of the pickup and reproduces the classic airy "out of phase" sound without ambient noise

very cool sounds when use with a tapped humbucker like 89r or 81tw. i was not as impressed when used with sa sa 81 ... perhaps thats just me though. works exactly as you'd expect and because it's so small you can fit it almost anywhere. i've had mine in between my volume and tone pots for a while now which puts it at your finger tips when soloing
