I wanted to upgrade my Player II Series Precision with active pickups. The solderless system that EMG use makes installation so easy, which is a relief as my soldering skills are very rusty.

My only concern was where the battery was going to go, but there is enough room in the cavity under the standard pickguard for the battery and the electronics. I fastened the battery in place with a bit of sticky velcro so it will not move about, but will still be easy to replace when the battery eventually runs out.

Very happy with this purchase, would recommend EMG to anyone.
