Surprisingly good instrument
The Epiphone J-180 LS Ebony is basically a big, flashy acoustic that actually sounds as good as it looks. It’s got that classic jumbo sound: loud, warm, and full, but it still stays clear when you strum hard. Perfect guitar for songwriting for hours.
The neck feels really comfortable and easy to get around on, the factory setup is surprisingly good. Plugged in, it sounds natural too.
The star inlays are a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but to me they are cool.
If you want a fun, inspiring acoustic with big sound and personality, this one is awesome.
