As I mostly use Ernie sets with 9 or 10 on the thinnest strings, I always keep these as spare. Love them!

perfect for replacing a broken top E
What can I say? They are Ernie Ball, n excellent brand. The top E is the most liable to break, and I'm often guilty, especially when playing live, as bending strings is a big part of my style. Before, I used to have loads of sets of strings with the top E already used. Now I can buy a six-pack of top E's, which is far more economic.

Ich hatte noch einige Sätze anderer Saitenmarken rumliegen, wo nur die 10er Saite fehlte, weil mal eine gerissen war...
Als ich dann zB einen Satz Elixier-Saiten mit ner 10er Saite Ernie Ball komplettierte und losspielte, war die hohe e-Saite von EB eindeutig lauter und brillanter als der Rest!

Makes life so much easier
No more breaking up sets. These strings are great quality, Peace of mind knowing I can bend all I want or floss the teeth of a crocodile and always have a spare.

Amazing for keeping a stock of string replacements
The E string tends to break first specially if you bend a lot, having these at hand will make sure you will never need to use old rusty strings when you break the high E.
