I've had a strap like this for years, but finally it was worn out.
This strap has no elastic in the cord, so it doesn't feel soft like a rubber band. But as the neopren has enough elasticity, it's very comfortable.

good for German clarinets
I use it on my German clarinets. I both three different kinds... this one does the job better than other more expensive straps.
