Needs milling
For use on a single or ladder truss fixed on a baseplate the piece needs to be milled down a few mm in order to get a tight fixation of the pole. If not the truss tube floats a few mm above the baseplate and it can wobble. Milling down does not affect the thread depth if done properly and not more than needed.

Great for baseplate's!
I used this to connect a Global Truss F31 bar to a 450x450 base plate by Global Truss and it worked perfectly!!
ALSO used to connect lights the top of the truss bar!
