Guild Surfliner Deluxe EM

I first fell in love with this design from watching the 60 Cycle Hum YouTube channel. I went on to watch a bunch of other videos and became obsessed! And now that I have it, I can safely say it’s every bit as awesome as I’d hoped for the money! It’s my first offset guitar and it feels amazing in my hands - it’s not super light, but thanks to the delicious roasted maple neck, buttery smooth Jazzmaster style vibrato and perfectly finished frets, this is easily the best guitar I’ve bought in this price range. My one gripe so far is that the paint chips really easily… I’ve owned my Surfliner for just over two months now and already have two separate dings on the headstock. That’s probably my fault, but it IS advertised as “made to play” after all, and I’m having way too much fun with it. :) (also, considering many people spend way too much time and effort artificially relic-ing their guitars, I don’t really see this as a huge issue). Don’t hesitate: this is the perfect guitar for surfers, rockers, blues and jazz cats, shoegazers, or anyone really!

Esthétiquement, rien à dire! c'est une merveille pour tout amateur de offset il n'y a aucune imperfection. le manche est nickel, pas de frettes qui bavent. Au niveau du son c'est une tuerie, ça sonne direct 60's sans aucun réglage alors que ça sonne d'usine! rien à voir avec Squier ou les Fender Mexicaines. Couplée avec mon Fender Hotrod Deluxe ça sonne Garage Surf à la perfection. ça m'évoque un mix entre une Tele et une Jag
Dommage qu'elle ne soit pas livrée avec une housse.
