This is my very first bass and all I can say is:
Pros:
Looks AWSOME, with some fret conditioner it looks EVEN BETTER.
Confortable,VERY CONFORTABLE.
Pretty easy to setup.
Versatile.
Very fun to play,as someone who played guitar for only one year.

Cons:
-The factory setup might not be great,you can have pretty high action on it and also the pick-up height needs a small fix. Also you mine had some dried paint on the sides of pick-ups but I don't mind at all since I love doing setups as long as I know I have a chance to make Something better than it is.
-The shaddles might be pretty unconfortable if youre resting your hand on bridge and you have action.

Fun things:
-After playing on it for 30-60 minutes picking up a guitar with very low action and thin strings it just feels hilariously wrong and also feels pretty easier to play.
-If you have any guitar amp it will be fine as long as you're not slapping too hard on high volume. I personaly used Harley Benton HB-20R (the guitar ver,not HB-20B thats for bass) and it didn't exploded or Something at 5 volume and 4 bass in eq. Also used Boss Katana 50 gen 3 on master like 9 o hour and channel volume like 90% on full power(50W) and it was fine. I've been playing for hours practicing fingerstyle and casualy slapping.
In conclusion, I'd recomand this bass as first bass, but only if high action don't mind you if you don't know how to do setups and don't have any luthier nearby.

-pretty silent unpluged
Extra cons:
-Neck dive,but you'll not feel it until you rest a bit and see the headstock heading to the closest wall or bed corner

It’s just arrived, I opened the box having owned and played budget Yamaha and Peavey basses in the past I am honestly amazed at the quality and weight, feels solid and looks fantastic.

All my prior Basses needed some kind of setup at higher prices paid 10+ years ago, all minor things but from the major brands.

My first impressions are that:

1)The finish is great.
2)Frets are lovely and smooth.
The toasted maple neck is quite lovely and the profile is easy to play and get a good stretch over.
3)The strings are good quality out of the box.
4)Holds tune well.
5)The setup is almost perfect just needing the slightest saddle adjustment up on E and A string to remove the slightest fret buzz.
6) Sounds great, typical tone for this style of guitar.

I’m not swayed by brands, guitar wise I’ve had everything from epiphones, Ibanez’s, American fenders, Peavey, Yamaha, Gretsch. Most of the cheaper range are made under licence, so looking into the Harley Benton range I see that they have a large number of suppliers producing the range.

Some have written off the brand online, which I thought was quite unfair, with this price point it’s about making a guitar that’s going to be great for a learner or intermediate player, easy to play and confidence inspiring, in my opinion it’s a £158 bass that’s potentially as good as those of bigger names for up to £400-500 bracket.

I would buy again and if your considering this model then I hope my review helps.

out of box it needs some adjustments. Has some fret buzz. Some frets are sharp and need sanding .The color is more whitish than it's in photos, which is better for me. Sound is okay, but for the price it's good. Tuners are heavy so it has neck dive.

Cheap, well built, good tuners, finish is perfect on mine, frest are great, no buzz fret on Standard tuning. Im surprised how great this thing is for the price.
the paint color is way different.
and the knob position are weird.
