This holds the flute well, has space where you can screw in two extra pegs (so for example a regular flute) and folds up quite compactly so you can carry it along to rehearsals in its own little bag.

I use it for bass recorder
This one I bought on a whim to see if it could be used for my bass recorder, and it worked great! I just use it the way it comes for home use. If I were to use it at a gig I'd probably pad out the knob a little bit with some soft material to make it grip more tightly. I suppose inner recorder diameters can vary, so you should check the dimensions before buying, but then, Thomann has a free returns policy if it doesn't work.
I now have many Hercules stands for saxes, clarinets and flutes, and I find them consistently of excellent quality, hardly showing any wear after travelling and gigging for years. You can put two pegs on this in addition for your flute, clarinet, trumpet, etc, making it a really versatile little thing.

A good stable Alto Flute stand
This product lived up to my expectations. It is a good, sturdy stand that packs down well. The build quality is the same as my sax stands - very good.
