Hicon HI-J35S-Screw-F

Great quality connector with traditional solder tabs. Aside from the screw thread, what makes these special is that they aren't tapered at the cable end at all, and therefore will accept cables of up to 6,8mm outside diameter (6mm for the male version) without having to drill them -- but you'll need to get creative for the crimp tabs to work. When combined with HI-J35S-Screw-M, these can be used to make extremely rugged stereo/balanced extension cables that will run great lengths and not ever come apart.

The quality of Hicon plugs is unquestionable, and this one is not an exception. The tip is very good and the overall look is nice.

However, it' not perfect. Strain relief is simple and does not hold cable securely, and It also can not hold cables thicker than 5mm at all.

I wouldn't recommend this for active pro stage use, but for home or studio use it's perfectly suitable.

Has little to no cord restraint, wouldn't use these in a high traffic environment. But does its job fine electrically

This Jack female is very durable, holds jack inside very strongly (I tested it on stage as a headphone cable extender). As with the other Hicon product, this jack is top quality.

The connector itself is very good, however it does need a bend relief to be installed on the cable. The Hicon HI-KS38, although listed under "Accessories & matching items" by Thomann, will not sit securely in the hole, as the diameter of the hole is larger than the one of Hicon HI-J35S-Screw-M, for which this bend relief is actually designed.

it's also easy to solder and have a good quality!
