This fits a Manfrotto Super Clamp, and has 1/4" and 3/8" ends for microphone or camera mounts. I only use the 3/8" end but I bought it because I like its height/distance from the clamp. I can attach a mic clip or stereo bar to it then clamp to any bar, truss, drum stand or almost anything near where I need a mic, and not need a stand. With the Super Clamp it makes a high-quality, stable and unobtrusive mounting system of professional quality. I plan to mount small cameras with these clamps too and this one spigot makes the same clamp much more useful for more jobs. Great to have and takes up almost no space

Nice to feel the heft of Brass

Quality spigot
I like the fact they dent in when you tighten a knob....it makes it a safe spigot in my opinion.......or maybe not; depending on your point of view.

Too few threads
This spigot has too few threads on both sides. The 1/4" side has, like, less than three full loops of the thread, more like two full loops of the thread, which is barely OK to hold something light and small, but not OK to hold a heavy camera or similar equipment. The spigots included with other hardware here have 5 threads on the 1/4" and are made of steel, while this is soft brass. I am definitely not buying this again.

Best spigot I’ve used
I’ve used a lot of spigots but I always come back to these.
I know they can hold weight, I know they’re always the same size and thickness and unlike other spigots, these aren’t loose if matched with a Manfrotto super clamp.
I feel confident and recommend investing in something that lasts long and is worth its value.
