Marshall Origin 50H Head

Many people are talking about this head and opinions are shared. I was a bit cautious when I bought this but now I know I made the right choice. It is so close to the '70s plexi amps. The clean is really warm and the natural overdrive sounds amazing. With this amp you get the sound of the clasical rock music that you've always listened. It works really well with pedals and the output for audio interfaces helps me a lot for recording at home. The power limiter is really usefull, I can play it at home at volume 1/3 and gain at 6 which is ok, but I can't really get that crunch. Even at 5W power, volume 6 and gain 6 (which is the minimum volume where it starts getting that warmth and crunch) is too loud for an apartment.

All in all, a really good amp and not just "for the money"! A great surprise from Marshall!
