NICE !
After saving some money for a few months, i now finaly bought my new Millenium MPS-1000 in the 1-up-2 down configuration.
(my) PRO'S :
Big set, good hardware, the kettles/drums are of reasonable quality.
The whole set gives good response, the module has enough sounds and edit-possibilities .
For me the sounds are good enough, and soon i will be importing my own sounds!
Comes with a software editor, so you can make and edit your own kits on your pc/mac!
(my) CON'S :
Unless i am missing something, there is no possibility to play (mp3) musicfiles or midifiles ! (with the mps850 this was possible)
Cables running from the module to the drums are a little short. . .
So i placed my module in between the hihatt and the tom.
Bassdrum pedal immediately replaced by a good one, it makes a lot of noise .

Worth the money.
I bought this as I wanted an acoustic looking set. Firstly, the quality of the drums and triggers is great. Yes, the hardware is not same as Tama or dw, but it is fine and works well.
The triggering is spot on, minimal hot spotting, responsive, accurate.
The module is fine. but I sold mine quickly and bought a Roland td-12. Lots of people may say the mps1000 sounds fine - and it does. And you can use it to trigger ez drummer etc and it will be spot on. I just wanted the edibility of the sounds for cheap (TD12 cost 220).
The cymbals are really, really good. The hit with built in controller does not work with the Roland module so I bought a vh-11, but I could have bought the millennium version happily. With the mps1000 module, the hit controller and stand is really great. No complaints whatsoever.
So, in conclusion, is good value to use as is (ignore people saying millennium is poor quality, this is an HXM kit and the quality is good).
If you want to hook it up with a vst software drum package it'll blow you away.
If you want to swap the module, easy and good to go. Just be aware you may need to swap a cymbal or two.
As it stands, I am so glad I chose this. Great service from Thomann and good warranty.

Looks better than the competition's for 1/3 the price.
(Pros and cons at the end)
Let me start by saying that the people who give less than 5 stars forgot how much this cost them.
Guys, this drumset looks even better in person than I imagined. This is my 4th edrum kit, but it's the first that looks like an acoustic. Let me tell you, the immersion, the bliss of playing this is massive compared to the average looking edrum set.
I did an extensive research before buying this. I looked at the efnote 3x, then to the alesis strata prime, then this one. Efnote: around 2.5k euros, alesis: 2.6k euros, mps1000: 920 euros.
Here's the thing. For *half* the price of those sets you can buy a mps1000, a double bass drum, an extra cymbal with the stand... and most important - an ssd5 or ezdrummer 3 key. This way you have a way better looking kit, way better sounds, an extra cymbal and a double bass pedal.
PROS:
- Looks beautiful and full sized.
- Build quality is actually good (stands, connecting parts, toms)
- There's some fx built-in
- Idk what else to say, I already praised this kit a lot.
CONS:
- stock sounds (no surprise ofc. But better than mps850)
- 1 trigger per pad (alesis and efnote have 3 per pad. Not a big deal, tune them properly)
- Requires tuning (youtube and reddit will help)
- It's a big drum set (just as an acoustic)
- Hi-hat definitely requires tuning (yt and reddit again)
For the price, the looks, the feel, the goods and bads, I give this a very fair 9 out of 10. The fact you can buy this for less than 1000€, buy ezdrummer 3 for 150€ and have a way better looking edrum set with better sounds than the competition for half the price is just absurd.

Amazing to play but a few tiny issues
Amazing to play, feels like an acoustic kit. Few hi-hat issues in regard to open and closed sensitivity. The lights on the module, for volume, my lights didn’t go up and down, so I’m in the midst of dealing with a fantastic customer service!

Not the best quality
This is obviously a cheaper and a more budget friendly E-Drum Set. But the quality of the rubber used on the actual drums are not good and my snare drum rubber was ripped the same day i got it. Also the snare sensor fell off many times (i fixed it with duct tape)

Good set
Really enjoy the size, maybe a bit to big for some, but gives a really good feel compared to a acoustic system.
The high hat needs settings adjusted to work properly, there is a good youtube video about it.
Overall really happy with it

Insanely good kit for price
Wipes the floor for what you get compared to other manufacturers. Even mid range major brand equivalents don't get near it.
