Excellent professional tenorhorn
Beautiful tone; warm, rich, and projects very well in both solo and ensemble settings. Intonation is stable across all registers, and the response is smooth. The 4-valve setup adds flexibility, especially in the low range.
Build quality is top-notch, as expected from Miraphone. The lacquered finish looks elegant and classic. Valves are precise, with smooth and reliable action.
I use it with a Bruno Tilz Spezial 214-B 1½ mouthpiece, and the combination gives me great control and a full, singing tone.
It does require good breath support due to the large bore, so it's best for intermediate to advanced players. But once you get used to it, the playing experience is outstanding.
