I have been playing bass for many years and this is my first Music Man StingRay. After spending some serious time with the instrument, I can honestly say that it fully lives up to its legendary reputation.
The build quality is absolutely top-notch. Everything feels solid, precise and well thought out. The neck is extremely comfortable, the fretwork is excellent and the instrument feels perfectly balanced whether sitting or standing.
Tonally, this bass delivers exactly what you expect from a StingRay: a powerful, punchy low end, clear mids and that unmistakable Music Man character.
