Might not work as you expect
I did have an issue with this converter. To start supplying power it does need to be connected to a USB C power supply. It does not supply power when using a cable to a USB A power supply.
Other than this, I would have to say the item is of nice quality.

Works as expected
I've been using it to power a Liven XFM synth via usb for the past few months without any issues.
