Whenever you need to connect digital devices under ADAT or S/PDIF digital interface format this is a standard digital optical cable for Toslink connections. With a length of 2,00m and professional quality this cable is ideal for studio use or for consumer devices.
In my case I use two of those to establish VST System Link (VSL) connection between two DAW on two different computers each. This is a very demanding task that the sssnake Optical Cable do it well.

Good value
I have no way of motivating pricier optical cables to myself. In a traditional electric cable there can be all kinds of leakage or disturbance, hums, hiss and so on, but in an optical cable the light reaches the end of the cable - or it doesn't. It is a digital signal, there are only 1 and 0 as possible results, nothing in between. So I see no advantage in gold connectors, quadruple insulation or anything such.
Yet this one feels a bit more "premium" than the kind of toslinks that are included with your equipment, which - I must admit - feels nice. I guess we are all gearheads in one way or another, and having something that feels slightly "better" at least makes me feel better, even though I cannot really say that the product is better.
But at a low price this is a good purchase, no matter how you look at things!
Yet this one feels a bit more "premium" than the kind of toslinks that are included with your equipment, which - I must admit - feels nice. I guess we are all gearheads in one way or another, and having something that feels slightly "better" at least makes me feel better, even though I cannot really say that the product is better.

It works
It's difficult to rate an optical cable. The connector is good and sturdy and it works well for all my SPDIF needs.

Optical cable - Excellent quality
Using this optical cable to link between a Focusrite interface, and a Panasonic stereo receiver for studio "stereo sound" reference. Although RCA cables typically do the trick, there is no harm in hearing the sound through a fully digital reference, and thats where this cables comes into play.
Clarity, quality and durability seem top notch on this cable. I would definitely recommend this cable for any use, home or pro studio. Unlike other brands, this cable does have some connector cable relief, and should last a long time within a studio rack.

This one got stuck in my interface. It seems to be build a tad bigger. Definitely for someone whose equipment had been jerked around.
