Remo PP-0982-BE Emperor Clear

Awesome heads!!! I use them on my Pearl Vision birch drum set, and mostly plays rock and heavy music. This heads are awesome for birch shells, because birch has a few overtones.

Very affordable!The Remo emperors are the standard heads for your toms when it comes to pop and rock music. The clear version gives your toms a good full round sound with great attack while the coated ones add warmness to it. They can take a beating as well.

Emperors are the perfect balance between attack and tone. They sound great when open and always have the option to muffle a little if you want, unlike on pre-dampened heads.
For me, the clear heads on toms give the perfect stick attack compared to the softer attack on coated heads.
Don't forget to break the glue before applying. Very durable.
