Great wind protection!
I bought two of these to protect my pair of Octava microphones when I'm recording in the field. As most of my recordings are made outdoors a good wind protection is essential in case the weather gets a bit rough. Can also be paired with additional furry windjammers for intense winds. Recommend!

Rycote quality windshield
This is a great quality windshield for small microphones which you can not attach a traditional windshield to. I've purchased this for my Oktava MK 012-01 and I'm extremely satisfied with it. It completely eliminates boom swinging/moving noise and it is built quite well so I think it will last for a couple of years.

Perfect for all use
You can use for boom or for stereo bar and quiet impressive ,small and robust you can pack it in you sound cart and don't take place and avoid wind , great product i recommend for every location sound .

You will need the Baby Ball Gag Wind Screen to compliment this product. Fits my small diaphragm mic perfectly, secures well around the mic. Be sure to order the correct diameter size for your small diaphragm mic type, there are several options..

Great for field recording
I own a couple of Oktava MK-012 microphones which are very subject to handling and wind noise. The Rycote Baby Ball Gag took care of all of those concerns. It has been nice finally being able to take the MK-012s into the field.
