Great build quality but it has its own sound which you might not like
I purchased this to replace a lousy Korean made FR1000 in a PRS DW CE 2024, and while the build quality was far better than the FR1000, I noticed the sound of the guitar changed quite drastically, and in a negative way for my taste. The guitar with its original Floyd has a well defined, rich and almost abrasive sound, especially on the attack. With the Schaller the sound became dull, unfocused and very lacking in the highs.
I still gave it 5 stars because I'm sure it's not about the Schaller itself but rather it's about the combination between it and the guitar.
Overall it's built like a tank but keep in mind that depending on your taste you may or may not like the sound of your guitar after you install it.
