The ideea is good but on my handpan it doesn't fit well on the note position I want to use I'd (2 / 4 / 3 / 5).
The sound can feel it's presence on the pan without using it.
It is good to put it on whith intention to play your songs and remove it for others.
Maybe on other handpan models works better.... On mine it feels like a downgrade on my playing style. Also I didn't exercised enough to integrate it well... This might be too.
