The Moog MF-109S Saturator ranges from tight, dynamic overdrive and analogue saturation to gentle compression and expansion. It combines a versatile envelope follower with bipolar control of the unique drive circuit found in Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins. This input stage is a key component of every Moogerfooger and adds warmth, distortion and crunch to any sound.
Additional features: The Plug-in also emulates the Minimoog Model D’s Noise generator circuit – including control over noise level and timbre, as well as a switchable filter type. Thanks to the Envelope Follower and Noise CV outputs, as well as several CV inputs, the Saturator can interact seamlessly with all other Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins.

- Digital triple oscillator
- Specialised in frequency and phase modulation
- One control knob per oscillator for coarse and fine-tuning and FM intensity
- Each oscillator has 8 selectable operating modes for free tuning or by ratio, LFO/VCO mode, linear or exponential FM and phase modulation
- Internal normalisations for mutual FM, phase modulation and tracking allow already complex sounds without patch cables
- CV inputs for all parameters
- Pitch CV inputs (1V/oct.) and sync input per oscillator
- Outputs for sine, triangle, sawtooth and square for the outer oscillators
- Outputs for sine, cosine, triangle, sawtooth, cosaw and square for centre oscillator
