Great Capo
Not heavy but built like a tank. Easy to adjust. A couple of years back I started using Shubb capos for my guitars and now I use them for all of my stringed instruments. Can't go wrong with Shubb. Top of the line, no doubt.

Excellent product as you'd expect from Shubb. There's not a great deal to say about it other than it works and it works well. If you're in the market for a banjo capo, buy one of these and move with your life.

Good quality
The quality is good. It is a bit hard to store if you it quickly during a performance, because you can’t put it onto the instrument’s head. However, overall it is fine, there is no buzzing, and it fits well.

Best capo, with one caveat
I have 4 shubb capos. They all have great intonation. The rubber cushion can come loose over time (in my case, 10 years), and these seem unreplaceable if lost. So, keep an eye on that, keep glue handy, and it can't go wrong.

My third Shubb capo
I have one for my E-guitar, western guitar, and now this one for my mandolin.
This is the ONLY capo that will work on my mandolin. Buying a capo is Always a trial and error thing, but for me, this is the one.

perfect on my 5string banjo
I used till now the bigger shubb capo for my guitar on my 5 string banjo, and it worked. But this one is a perfect match. I love the quality and simplicity of these capos.

If the capo fits
This is a great capo from Shubb, King of the Capos. Nicely proportioned to fit on the narrow 4-string part of a banjo. The strings are twangy and loose so you don't even need to put it on that tightly. Smooth operator.
