Der Lyra-8 ist ein fantastisches Instrument. Man hat beim Spielen manchmal das Gefühl, man unterhalte sich mit einem übernatürlichen Wesen.
Ich besitze schon die weiße Originalversion, konnte aber bei der Rust Edition hier nicht widerstehen.
Es scheint tatsächlich echter Rost zu sein, den man dann versiegelt hat. Vermutlich mit Lack? Auf jeden Fall färbt nichts ab. Die Oberfläche hat aber eine richtig rauhe Struktur, ganz wie bei echtem Rost.
Die Haptik dieser Sonderedition macht wirklich nochmal extra was her.
Ein wunderschönes Objekt und ein phänomenal klingender Synthie obendrein.
Einzige Verbesserungswünsche meinerseits wären individuelle Lautstärkeregelung pro Stimme und etwas weniger extreme Frequenzspektren, damit man gerade die höheren Stimmen 7 und 8 etwas präziser tunen kann.
Ansonsten aber bin ich von Lyra absolut begeistert.

Synthetic Drug SOMA Lyra-8
Ricevuto Synth in tempi brevissimi. Imballaggio perfetto. Non ci sono abbastanza parole nel mondo per descrivere questo oggetto così incredibile. Ogni volta che lo accendi accade qualcosa all'interno di noi come se ci fosse una connessione attraverso una disconnessione. Ho aspettato il momento giusto per acquistarla perché Lyra-8 ha bisogno di essere prima amata poi posseduta. I suoni? Non suona ma risuona come una forza primordiale che cerca di manifestarsi emettendo messaggi da una coscienza matrice della vita stessa.

Real rust ;-)
Great rusty execution of the casing. It is real oxydized rust, not paint but wartime corrosion. Other than that, well, I did have the black, white and green ones before, so this rusty one is the fourth. The sound, well, for those who know the Lyra, it's crazy, nuff said. This synth is the kind I always get homesick to after selling. Nope, not gonna sell this one! PS: I wish the touch plates and the switches were brass or copper color would be so much more artistic!

AMAZING
This instrument is like a gate to sonic heaven. Forget anything about music theory, practices, anything like that. Just close yourself, find enough time to be alone and immerse in the sonic exploration that Lyra-8 can provide, twist the knobs, play with the settings and listen.

Ein tolles Instrument, das Spass macht. Bei der Rost Edition konnte ich nicht "nein" sagen.
