Sommer Cable Galileo 238 Plus BK

This one is really great cable. In past I've used simple cables and I was think, they are OK, but when I get this one I saw the difference. Ordinary MIC cable I would rate 5 out of 10, but for this one I will gave 8 points of 10. Why only 8 points? Because I admit that it is always possible to find something better. The difference is especially audible when using ribbon or dynamic microphones. This cable has a much lower noise level. My recommendations.

I use in studio as patch cord. I really like! Sound good!!!

Used for live and studio / reheasal situations. Nice cable to work with and solder. In use it has good transmission, screening and no hearable cable noise. Recommendable

The Galileo 238 Plus is my cable of choice for longish runs of greater than 5m.
There is minimal signal degradation when driving remote speaker power amps in my application.

i've compared many other balanced cables and the Galilieo 238 Plus came out tops subjectively to my ears.

Absolutely top notch as far as microphone cables go.

A quite thick cable (low AWG) for a reasonable price. Good screening and shielding. No noise was found yet despite its length. A DIY project with Neutrik plugs.
