I am using it with Tascam DR40X portable recorder. Bought it mostly for the widshield, which works OK. The rest is bonus for me.
One thing could be better, the USB Type A / Micro B cable is not a data cable, it works only as a power suply cable. So the cable does not transfer the data from recorder to PC in SD card reader mode on my Tascam.
