I bought it to hold a mouthpiece, not a recorder.
Made of thick leatherette, feels tough in the hand. The back of the metal snap closure can touch the recorder/whistle inside but it isn't very sharp. It should be splashproof, despite the edge hemming fabric being porous.
It is 62 x 205 mm.
There's no belt loop or other attachments.
