We have used this product for about 6 years now since our first purchase.
Even the old pedal board required a real hustle to unmount the pedals that had this tape o them.
We never had a pedal falling from the pedal board once it was taped with this roduct.

I cannot see any difference between 3M and this. Sticks great to pedals.
