The Moog MF-109S Saturator ranges from tight, dynamic overdrive and analogue saturation to gentle compression and expansion. It combines a versatile envelope follower with bipolar control of the unique drive circuit found in Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins. This input stage is a key component of every Moogerfooger and adds warmth, distortion and crunch to any sound.
Additional features: The Plug-in also emulates the Minimoog Model D’s Noise generator circuit – including control over noise level and timbre, as well as a switchable filter type. Thanks to the Envelope Follower and Noise CV outputs, as well as several CV inputs, the Saturator can interact seamlessly with all other Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins.

- Analog rimshot sound generator of the TR-909 in Eurorack format
- Sound generation: Three T-bridge oscillators, each generating a damped sine wave at a different frequency, are mixed and sent to a VCA - controlled by an envelope generator that delivers the familiar attack-rich sound
- The original circuitry has been supplemented with frequency control of two internal oscillators to allow more timbres
