A professional-grade preamp — among the very few capable of matching (and extend) the performance of a Markbass Combo Mini CMD 121P V, for example.

The cab simulation does an excellent job. Suddenly, fret buzz becomes negligible, slides are smooth and consistent, and the tone is full, fat, and satisfyingly boomy

I must also mention how exceptionally well the GENOME app (included with the purchase) integrates into Studio One as a VST3 plug-in. The integration is seamless, stable, and inspiring to work with.

I’m really impressed — and very glad to have it in my setup.

I was not expecting to have this pedal replace so many of my other pedals in one go. I get the right tones from all 3 channels with very little tweaking and this allows great on-the-fly adjustments.

Overall, I highly recommend this pedal!

Finally an analog DI/(recording) preamp solution that has great sounds in it and a very effective EQ that alters the sound effectively but without sweetspots. What i mean by that is that this pedal has useable sounds at every EQ settings (just like a real amp), it doesnt distort or overload if you tweak the bass or the mids for example. Many other bass DI solutions have one or two great settings, this one has many. Super happy with it so far. New addition after a few weeks of use: I tend to like the clean channel without the cab/sim engaged as it has more mids. The two drive channels work much better with the built in cab/sim.
