Excellent as long as you're careful
This is an excellent mic stand for keyboard players, way better than a separate mic stand and really looks the part with the AX-48 keyboard stand as well. Stable and nicely adjustable. The only problem is if you're gigging with it you need to demount it via the large wingnut which holds the main body of the boom to the part which attaches to the keyboard stand. I used to screw the whole boom off each time, however it's quite easy to get it cross threaded and in the end strip the threads off. So now I'm on my second boom and have learned my lesson!

A good replacement
I bought this as a replacement for my original one which broke after six years of gigging.
The quality of these booms are pretty good, although they do have weak points. But the convenience of not having a mic stand bumping against your keyboards is worth it.
That’s boom is really solid and as long as you’re tighten up correctly doesn’t move around during the gig.
