looking for an improved tone with sustain
This studio compressor has many features for the price. You can dial in settings to create great sustain alongside a bigger tone. The single mode acts more like a traditional compressed sound but switching to the dual mode creates a thickened tone with even more sustain. There is plenty more for me to discover inside this pedal. A classic studio compressor with the addition of a further range of settings for you to experiment with. I love the sounds that you can create out of this pedal. If you want to just plug in and play maybe this compressor is not for you but if you are willing to give some time to experimenting with your sound then you will get a lot out of this compressor\limiter.

Amazing compressor
Simple to use, sounds great. Simple mono digital compressor. Small, light, feels robust. The three modes are very cool. It does the 1176 thing. Got to be careful with the dual mode, as it can be distorting - which isn't what I use compressors for, but hey, go for it if that's your thing. Parrallel switch is handy. Loving it so far.

Great versatile compressor
Easy to use, with very responsive knobs. Even useful as a booster/preamp pedal. Very good quality and useful features for pedalboards (True bypass or Buffered, Parallel Mix switch). Definitely recommend.

1176 in a nutshell
I have a Origin Effects Cali76 TX and this is a portable (and affordable) alternative. I hear not a huge difference between the two

Good overall
It adds some hiss noise (high pitch) not so loud but you can hear it when not playing.
