Yamaha MD-BT01 Wireless Midi Adapter

I use this device to pair some of my pedals with the iOS Ribn App. I don't know if it's a device fault or an app fault, but even if I can connect up to 3 BT-01 simultaneously, the app can control only one of them at time. Hope there will be an update from the developer of the app to solve this problem. All in all it does what is supposed to do with no latency at all.

Never a dropout.
Only minus is that it sticks out a bit on the backside of the keyboard.
The "In" "Out" could be a bit more marked, but it's easy anyway,
Lag is there, but minimal as in really low, and it's "steady", not changing up and down.
The plugs are sitting sturdy into the MIDI ports, not flimsy.
Works very well from/to keyboard from/to iPad.

Im using this adapter to connect my reface cp to an iphone 7 . as you know, unlike the ipad, iphone 7 only have one lightning connector without independent audio output. With this, i can control ios sound module such as Korg module, and still use lightning to audio as my audio output. very neat solution . the wireless adapter itself doesn't use any electrical source. If I want to be picky, maybe i would like to ask Yamaha to make the shorter/smaller . Price is about the same or less than any other competition , which is a big plus

Use it so my Yamaha PSR s-775 can communicate with Songbook on my iPad or to transfer midi songs to the keyboard from my scoring software on a macbook. No problem installing or connecting. Works flawlessly so far. Seems to be of good quality. Happy. Thanks Thomann!

Works great with an iPad or with macOS. Windows needs the Korg BLE driver, but once installed it works fine. There is no noticeable latency which was my main concern, but it feels just like with a MIDI cable.

Connects to my iPad with no noticeable latency. It’s an iPad Air 3rd.

Woks very well with my Berhinger FCB1010 controling Amplitube either on OSX or iOS. Very small latency.

Just tested it with my old Roland A-30 midi keybord and connected it to Garage band on my Ipad. Easy to connect and use.

This device is amazing, runs off the midi power from the device, the wirless delay is minimal and works much easier than a cable.

This little MIDI adapter is a game changer for my setup. No more messy cables and it's super easy to pair with my devices. Latency is surprisingly low, I haven't noticed any lag at all. Solid build quality too, feels like it'll last. Definitely recommend checking this one out!
