I bought this so I could control the output volume coming from a DAC and for me it does that with flying colors.
To my ears this adds no coloration to the sound, it's just a simple passive circuit doing the job flawlessly.
It has a metal construction, connectors feel sturdy, the switches have a great tactile feel to them and the knob is smooth from start to finish.
The only con I can find is that you can't control multiple pairs of monitors with it, though for me that isn't a problem since I bought it to do a specific job.
I wasn't expecting so much value for so little money, the price makes this a steal.
