Simple and effective; it surely gets the job done. I previously used one, I think it's the same model from Drum N Base, so, this newer one is basically the same in terms of rubber and adhesive, this one does not have the manufacturer's logo etched on it anymore, it's slightly narrower than the previous one, but fortunately, still wide and long enough to cover enough drum rim for every type of pedal mechanism on the market, so, it's a great little upgrade if you care about not damaging the kick drum hoop. Also, the pedal has an improved grip by being fixed on that rubber base. The adhesive can be easily scraped from the hoop if you need to remove it, because in time it gets torn; so, the hoop does not remain sticky. That's all about it. 5 stars for sure!
