Only bass drum head I use

After years of trying different skins for my bass drum, I looked no further than the Emad, had never let me down before and got a great boom out of my 22" kick. So after switching to a bop/jazz kit, the first thing I ordered was an Emad 2, I can assure you, it makes an 18" bass drum sound like a 22 inch. Gets compliments anywhere I go. Recommend 100%

Easy bass drum sounds for the hard of tuning

I have one of these on my 22 in bass drum from my main kit so when i bought a jazz kit for small gigs it was a no brainer to get one for it too. I was not disappointed- the drum sounds much bigger than it dd with the standard fit head- the smaller foam ring controls the overtones well and means that i don't have to fill the drum with padding or put a hole in the front head. Amazing quality from Evans yet again!

Very versatile bass drum head

I really liked the sound of the Evans Emad2 for 18 inches drums in a more Pop, Latin situation. However I tried to use it on a 18" converted tom with Tom rims and couldn't make it work.

This has got to be the big daddy of kick drum skins. Every time I’ve used this on a bass drum it’s sounded punchy and massive. With the added 2 rings you really can get that sound you’re going for. Great work evans!
