B
Good at home, good at rehearsals with drums, good on studio and why not on stage.
I ordered it as new, but received it B-Stock by mistake. Thomann offered me a deal to keep it, and I did, no complaints. Now about the product. Not perfect finish but acceptable for this price. Sound is great but heavily dependant on speaker - as we all know. With the 70/80 is bit harsh on distort and mid to low end oriented. We know the reason: cost and try to cover most styles - as the narrow oriented users will go on another price range. But if you know what you want you can make it trully yours by replacing the speaker or use an external cab, so don't give up on it, will keep up with you the whole path. On the electronic side, it is a Laney 100%. Clean PCB and well done, I expect this to last if no mecanical aggression is applied. It is not that "all tube sound path" or "no solid state in audio path" therefore is not for the purists. There are few OPamps in the reverb section. But this is fine, the tube character is all there, hands down. The TONE pot is not a PRESENCE, as quite a few suggested. It is a high cut to reduce distortion for high frequencies in power section. Real spring reverb is superb. Also efects loop. Finally, these 15 Watts will shake your world. Who needs valve 100 W? Should I buy it again? Oh yes, absolutely.

Exceptional tone, but stock tubes have major QC issues (FIXED)
Pros: Great sound, solid build, unbeatable price for a tube amp.
Cons: Fixed power cable, unreliable stock tubes causing volume drops.
The Harley Benton Tube15 offers impressive sound quality and authentic tube warmth at an incredible price point. However, prospective buyers should be aware of a major quality control issue regarding the stock tubes.
My first unit developed intermittent volume drops shortly after purchase. Thomann's customer support was top-notch, handling the international return and replacement process very professionally. Unfortunately, the brand new replacement unit developed the exact same volume drop issue within a short period.
Instead of returning the amp a second time, I decided to troubleshoot it myself. The issue turned out to be the factory preamp tubes. After replacing the stock 12AX7 tubes with a fresh set of high-quality ones (JJ Tubes), the volume drops disappeared completely, the tone improved, and the amp became perfectly stable.
Conclusion: This amplifier is a fantastic value for the money, but the factory-supplied tubes are highly unreliable. If you experience sudden volume drops, don't rush to return the unit—simply swap the preamp tubes for a quality set, and you will have an amazing, reliable tube amp.
