Very natural sounding pickup, Compared it to my Studio Mic

Really good experience with this, and easy to install, did it myself.
My demo for the sound compared to the Studio Condenser Mic:
sounds to me more natural than the normal UST ( piezo undersaddle)
so it takes the full body sound beside the strings but still lacks a bit compared to the Studio Mic, the air-ness ... I would say for the price it's a great tool. I've also got the Volume control with it and it's worth it.

The most acoustic sound ever. Better than any piezo. I own a lr baggs stage pro preamp,wich is good,but the journey instruments,is waaay better

Like any electro acoustic player I have tried many pickups searching for that pure acoustic sound. I would say there is no perfect pickup when electrifying acoustic guitar however what I have learned is get a cheap e.q. pedal and good preamp and you are 75% there. Found this pickup for price and ease of installation to be excellent and as good as pickups I have tried at 4 times the cost. Just get e.q. pedal at same time and cut the mids!

I haven't tested other similar pickups from other brands, but I am so pleased with these! They sound natural, woody. I know at some point they weren't in the stock anymore, and I wrote to the guys at Thomann, and soon afterwards they brought it back into stock. Man I was glad! I bought 2 of them and I might purchase another one as I gave one away as a gift to my dear brother-in-law.
