I am using this conga set for a few months now, it sounds great. It needs tuning about once a month.
The stand could be a bit more stabile, but it holds the congas nicely though.

LP are renowned for quality hand-struck percussion. These congas are not top-of-the-range but sound good and look impressive, with well-finished Siam wood shells. I had to retune them slightly to get the desired pitch and tone but this was not difficult. The tripod stand is easy to set up and adjust and quite stable. I play in a Latin band and the other members noticed the improvement to my old instruments immediately. I'm pleased with the purchase, and, of course, Thomann's efficiency in processing it - and the free delivery, via UPS.

I'm new conga player and these seem good. Stand Is stable and easy to adjust. A friend of mine plays congas for years and used them for 2 gigs while his went for a setup and he was satisfied with them considering the price. I used both Rode M5 and 2 shure 57s and both mics worked great with them.
