Marcus Miller V5 Alder-4 VWH

I’m not a pro player by any means. My other basses are an entry-level Harley Benton and a sort of mid-level Ibanez, but this is way above those—by a mile (and it’s not that much more expensive than the Ibanez). I played an American Fender once, and this Sire feels incredibly close to it. I can’t believe how they managed to make such a good instrument while keeping the price low. If it had another name on the headstock (I’m looking at you, Fender), it would have easily been double the price.

PS. This is not hate towards Fender, I love them. In my opinion, they are just the current rival to this bass, easily comparable to a MIM jazz bass
