Great monel strings
Great sound, as long as you know what you're getting with monels. Last forever, comfortable and slinky, and a slightly darker, dry sound, fundamental focused with less overtones. Decently punchy.
Usually pairs well with mahogany.
Used them on a Recording King RD318.
I have since switched to Martin treated PBs, but monels remain a valuable alternative for a different sound.
